http://www.npr.org/sections/ablogsupreme/2013/05/10/182885860/a-diy-guide-to-the-history-of-women-in-jazz

Women in Jazz Festival

Inspired by Mary Lou Williams (1910-1981), Dr. Billy Taylor (1921-2010) founded the Women in Jazz Festival, held annually at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. "Mary Lou Williams" he explains "set a high standard for Jazz musicians. Composer, pianist, arranger, teacher, music historian, a role model and a humanitarian, she was the quintessential Jazz master. A sensitive, caring, self effacing performing artist, she shared her vast experience and musical skills with fellow artists."
Since 1996, some of Jazz music's most talented players have assembled for the two day event. From the eminent stateswoman of Jazz, Marian McPartland, to female artists who recently arrived on the scene, the Mary Lou Williams Women in Jazz Festival has set the tempo for encore events internationally.
Hosted by Dee Dee Bridgewater, the Mary Lou Williams Jazz Festival markes its 20th thrilling year with two evenings of star-studded performances in the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater featuring the world's top female Jazz artists. The Washington Post says the festival "speaks volumes about the contributions women have made to Jazz, and continue to make, both here and abroad."
The 2015 Mary Lou Williams Women in Jazz Festival scheduled performing artists are Dee Dee Bridgewater, Ingrid Jensen, Brianna Thomas, Charenee Wade, Sylvia Cuenca, Michele Rosewoman, Catherine Russell and the Ladies Sing the Blues project and many more including some of New York's best vocalists and musicians.
The 2015 Women in Jazz Festival is held May 15 & 16.

Bossa Nova "Brazilian Jazz"

Bossa Nova - A blend of West Coast Cool, European classical harmonies and seductive Brazilian samba rhythms, Bossa Nova or more correctly "Brazilian Jazz", reached the United States c.1962 (timeline). The subtle but hypnotic acoustic guitar rhythms accent simple melodies sung in either (or both) Portuguese or English. Pioneered by Brazilians' Joao Gilberto and Antonio Carlos Jobim, this alternative to the 60's Hard Bop and Free Jazz styles, gained popular exposure by West Coast players like guitarist Charlie Byrd & saxophonist Stan Getz.

Pixar Lava Lyrics

A long long time ago,
there was a volcano
living all alone in the middle of the sea.
He sat high above his bay
Watching all the couples play
And wishing that he had someone too.
And from his lava came
this song of hope that he sang out loud
every day for years and years.
I have a dream.
I hope it will come true.
You are here with me.
And I am here with you.
I wish that the earth, sea, and sky up above
would send me someone to lava.
Here is to singing all alone
and turning his lava into stone
until he was on the brink of exiting sun.
But little that he know
that living in the sea below
that another volcano
was listening to his song.
Everyday she heard his tune
her lava grew and grew
because she believed that song was for her.
Now she was so ready to meet him above the sea.
As he sang his song of hope for the last time.
I have a dream.
I hope it will come true.
You are here with me.
And I am here with you.
I wish that the earth, sea, and sky up above
would send me someone to lava.
Rising from the sea below
stood a lovely volcano
looking all around
but she could not see him.
He tried to sing to let her know
that she was not there alone
but with no lava of his his song was so gone.
He filled the sea with his tears
watched his dreams disappear
As she remembered what his song meant to her.
Female Voice:
I have a dream.
I hope it will come true.
You are here with me.
And I am here with you.
I wish that the earth, sea, and sky up above
would send me someone to lava.
Main Voice:
Oh they were so happy
to finally meet above the sea.
All together now their lava grew and grew.
No longer they are they all alone
with Aloha as their new home.
And when you go and visit them this is what they sing:
(TOGETHER)
I have a dream I hope it would come true.
That you will grow old with me, an I will grow old with you.
We thank the earth, sea, and sky we thank too.
I lava YOU! I lava YOU! I LAVA YOU!

PS3 - Castelvania - Lord of Shadow 2

Today I'll play Castelvania in my PS3. This game remember my childhood. I played this game for the first time when I was twelve years old. Today I'm 33 years old and I'll play again.

"Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is an Action-Adventure game which serves as the final chapter in Konami’s Lords of Shadow reboot of the classic Castlevania game series. The game revisits the actions of one-time member of the ‘Brotherhood of Light,’ Gabriel Belmont, in the previous game installment and details the consequences of those actions in the face of the rise of a familiar, ancient evil that only he has the ability to combat.
At the end of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, the origin of Dracula and his legendary connection with the Belmonts was revealed. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is the sequel to that 2010 reboot of the Castlevania series for play on Next-Gen game consoles. In it fans can expect thrilling new twists, action, adventure and challenges, as Dracula returns, this time to battle ultimate evil. Yet the dilemma is that he himself is greatly weakened and yearning for release from his immortal bonds. To succeed against the powerful threat he stands against, the vampire lord must reacquire his old powers – and only his castle holds the key. However, the famed Belmont clan also seeks his ultimate destruction in this shocking conclusion to the Lords of Shadow series." https://www.konami.com/games/castlevania-lords-of-shadow-2/?age-verified=5dbee02367
