Vocabulary: cider vinegar

Cider Vinegar—The product made by the alcoholic and subsequent acetous fermentation of apple juice or concentrate thereof. It contains not less than 4 g acetic acid in 100 cm3 at 20°C. It has a light to medium amber color. It is used in salad dressings, mayonnaise, and sauces. The term vinegar refers to cider vinegar, also termed apple vinegar.
